Sophisticated and clean but full of details is probably the easiest way to describe Songzio's collection. He has created an elegant man, mingling modern urban silhouettes with the regalia of imperial Asia.
Long and large volumes, accentuated shapes and proportions, the show opened with a coat made of heavy wool with leather details on the cuffs and a collar worn with a big belt. He utilizes Asian inspiration for the jacket but with an occident influence in the cut, manipulating tailored shapes, and using lineal cutting in heavy wool or velvet accented by leather.
Songzio has successfully deconstructed the bourgeois dress code to locate a seductive ease in luxurious dressing, a dark color palette of blacks, dark blues, purple and grays, aligned in a monochromatic mood.
