Entertained by different thoughts of magic and illusion minimarket created this physical collection, also inspired by the ”vaudeville phenomena” and specific perpetrators of magic such as harry houdini.
Disaggregated and cropped pieces are transformed into different versions of already existing garments. the collection pins down suits, wide bottoms and cape details. colours range from illusive greens via skin and ochra to fox brown with prints inspired by the period of Vaudeville. the collection presents a range of exquisite details such as sequin embroidery, handmade pleats and braids.
Fairytales go hand-in-hand with cosmopolitan finesse in the minimarket collections. founded in 2006 by three sisters, swedish label minimarket has grown into an international brand represented in 22 different countries.
