Ch-ch-changes, as Bowie would put it, are afoot at Paris College of Art.
At the PCA Atelier, the school's boulevard Voltaire location in Paris' 10th arrondissement, there is a subtle tension in the air as the end of the semester approaches and the graduating class prepares for its moment, the Golden Thimble Award which will distinguish one designer as the crème de la crème. More than any other year, this moment is bittersweet, as the seniors prepare to bid farewell to their studies, and the rest of the school anticipates the changes brought on by its planned expansion. Come next fall, students will enjoy the PCA Design Center on rue Fenelon, a 2,550 square meter facility complete with new expansive spaces for studying, collaborating and exhibiting. Laudomia Pucci is an image director and deputy chairman of a world-known brand Pucci, which is quite a synonym to the word luxury. Pucci is one of the few fashion houses that can boast a splendid history and tradition at the same time being modern and contemporary. The Pucci phenomenon was recognized by the legendary Diana Vreeland, who after seeing Emilio Pucci's designs put him in touch with the right people. And the story of the grand fashion house has begun. Laudomia, with the pure aristocracy of her father, has started to work in a company at 23. Since than she has managed to keep Pucci as one of the the most famous and luxurious fashion houses in a world. We met Laudomia in a Pucci store in Milan, couple of hours before the show.

At the first day of fashion week in Milan we met with a celebrated make-up artist Georgina Graham, who was responsible for the make-up look on Francesco Scognamiglio show. Despite the hectic backstage atmosphere, Georgina remained calm and focused - she is used to accept the challenge. There are so many clients in her portfolio, that you can't believe that Georgina is still considered to be a new talent in the industry. Georgina is constantly adding new clients to her vast portfolio and is constantly working with such magazines as Dazed, Love, Harper's Bazaar and different Vogue editions. But we catch her at the most intense time of the season - fashion weeks period!
