Christophe Lemaire is certainly the only designer who keeps his audience keen, without following the seasonal winds of change. And this time again, his slow take on fashion was able to convince his aficionados.

As the press release stated, Lemaire's woman was 'freed from fashions' and consequently opted for a quotidian wardrobe.

Like in his previously menswear autumn-winter 2013/14 collection, Christophe Lemaire was all about comfy tailored looks, while maintaing a discreet color palette of egg shell, ginger and midnight blue hues.

Military inspired coats set the tone this season and came along in different variations, including trenchcoats, chesterfields, cropped jackets, and belted overcoats with a particular emphasis on plunging notched lapels. Washed silk blouses, yak wool knits and poplin shirts where combined with high-waisted flared pants, that were crafted from wool, silk twill, and denim.

As always, Lemaire's outfits were sported in a nonchalant way. Thus, his models wandered around slowly, striking a casual pose now and then -- an easy-going atmosphere that was perfectly underlined by Francoise Hardy's soft and melancholic song that served as a show track.
